Premier Jewelry Design
- I don't know why you would think that, but you are very wrong! I was a Premier jeweler and my best friend is currently one. The jewelery bought and shown by jewelers is exactly the same as the jewelry shipped to hostesses for themselves and their friends from their show. Jewelers wear and can even sell their own collection that is on display. It's the SAME! I hope you didn't follow through with your undercover plan and make a fool out of yourself!
- I hosted 3 Premier Designs Jewelry parties before becoming a Premier Jeweler myself. I NEVER had a problem with the jewelry looking worse. In fact, a few of the pieces looked better in person than they did in the book because of the way the picture was taken. This is high fashion jewelry, meaning that it is not 100% real. If it were 100% you would be paying a lot more than what you do through Premier. Also, Premier has a Golden Guarantee, if any manufacturing defects occur within the first 60 days of ownership Premier will replace your piece absolutely free (you must keep your receipts as proof of purchase). After 60 days, a $5 charge per item is charged for the replacement of your item. Premier is all about customer satisfaction. If you were not satisfied with the product you received, you should have let Premier know so that they could fix the situation before you consulted an outside source.
-I recently hosted a show and received some nice 1/2 price and free items. I did have problems with 2 pair of earrings. I wore them both once and they both turned my ears black and rubbed off black on my white turtleneck where the earrings touched the fabric. They are allowing an exchange for something different; however, they are trying to say that the problem is a "chemical" or "hormonal" imbalance in me that is causing this; however, I have a wide range of earrings from really cheap ($10.00 or less) to expensive (100% 14karat gold and real sterling silver) and I have never had any problems with any of them. Common sense tells me that earrings rubbing off on clothing is "not" a hormonal problem, it is an inferior metal in the earrings or a manufacturing/processing flaw. Even though I had this problem, they did allow an exchange to correct the problem. I will be choosing something other than earrings.
- I have been selling Premier Designs for over a year now and it's not advertised as fine jewelry, it is advertised as high fashion and plated gold or silver or other metals. That is what it is and it's good quality and price point for what it is. You can go to a department store and maybe get it cheaper, on sale, but I have also seen the same exact items sold for over twice the price that Premier sells them for. The items are guaranteed and I'm sorry a customer was told they have a chemical imbalance but it's all about how our bodies react with the jewelry. I have 15 rings and one will slightly grey my finger sometimes. I have no idea why but I don't think that is an overall look at the product being low quality. I doubt any of us has been happy with every single product you have ever bought anywhere, right? Thank you to those who said your support and I'm sorry to those who had a bad experience.
- I was a Premier Design Jewelry lady for about a year and it was the worse thing I have ever done. The woman who got me into it talked me into buying the $1200 jewelry kit telling me the more the display the better the sales. On top of the $1200 for the jewelry there was a charge of $400 as a fee to the company. So who has this kind of money laying around?? Oh...but they offer a credit card you can charge it on with a low low interest of 22% and this was with my excellent credit rating! If I knew what I know now I would have known that you DO NOT need all that jewelry and in time you can accumulate more and you do not need the credit card because if you get paid up front you can directly deposit the clients money into a business account(not getting charged 22% interest) and use a debit card to pay for the product! So because of this I ended up paying a lot more money out of pocket than I should of....Oh and they forget to tell you that you have to pay for the invitations to send to the parties and the stamps you put on them(which is not cheap) and prizes for the games you play at the shows!! Then there is the local and national rally's that are suppose to pump you up about the new jewelry.....that costs money to go. I paid a couple hundred dollars for a local rally and they wanted like $400 to go to Texas....not including airfare and a hotel to stay in when you get there! So unless you have nothing else better to do with your time...then I suppose you could make money. But it was more annoying than fun.

When was the last time you were permitted to use the trademarks, copyrights, and catalog of a company for free? Explain why you think you SHOULD be permitted to use the company's catalogs and trademarks for free? $400 initial fee is reasonable for a company that permits you to charge full retail price and keep 50% of your earnings. Moreover, although you may have accumulated jewelry during time, and MANY people start without a kit (I started without anything and earned $365 in jewelry the ONE time I hosted and over $300 in my training show) some people choose to purchase it because it IS easier when people can see it in person. However, it seems that your complaint is that YOU spent too much money starting up, not that the company is bad. Also, you can EMAIL invitations to your hostess and have her distribute to her guests via email or in print, and the prizes for the shows literally cost like $1-$2 each. Given the fact that the average home show is $400, which means you will earn about $192 minus any bonuses, I think its reasonable not to expect the company to ALSO have to pay the $5 in prizes you might spend
